“What was flat all around as far as the eye could see,
Now changes to volcanic splendor, lush and luxuriant,
Soils aromatic black as pitch,
Fruits to delight, succlent and rich,
And the wine that necessary ingredient !
Great lands produce great produce and there’s no doubting the greatness of the volcanic soils of the Eugane Hills.
